Default G38 with Unknown Ignition Help

I'm currently prepping a large sized 20 to 30 year old Fleet biplane for its maiden flight yes its maiden flight and have run into a serious problem. It has an old G-38 on it with an electronic ignition conversion. The engine is new and un run and from what I understand is the same age as the plane. Unfortunately the crank shaft is bent possible from a bench accident or hanger rash. I need to figure out what exactly I have to figure out where I go from here. The ignition is located in the motor mount at the rear of the engine. Thanks
