in need of Mejzlik props; who has them?
Our UAV program here at work is in desparate need of Mejzlik propellors (22x10) but none of our sources have them in stock. Does anyone know of a supplier that has any in current inventory? We need 2.
Any help is appreciated.
Jeff

Yes, it needs to be a Mejzlik.
We have Bolly's as a back-up but all our flight model data has Mejzlik props coded already. To generate thrust table data and code it up for Bolly props in time to meet our first flight date is not a luxury we have right now.
This is a critical air vehicle and requires us to be able to fly it in the sim prior to actually first flight of the UAV. Any known deviations we can predict in the sim will greatly ease 'unknown factors' on first flight.
The vehicle has a weight of 65lbs, with a wing area of 6sq ft and an aspect ratio of 24:1 (wingspan is 12', chord is 6" ) and add to that it is a forward swept wing/canard config.

Gonna take a big engine to get much more than 30 lbs thrust from a 22-10, of any brand...[8D]

The engine we're using is a DA-50. It actually flies very well in the sim. Our flightsim software guys did an excellent job with the dynamic model. The plane cruises at about 85kts and stall speed is 59kts. Take off roll is expected to be around 1000'. What we're concerened with is the landing roll out. Right now it's going to be over 3000'. We're flying at a full size airport and using their runways.

according to my personal calculator it is not that difficult. Results are corrected for Mejzlik.
The DA50 may need some good exhaust system though.
engine 1
Propeller Length 22.0 Inches
Propeller Pitch 10.0 Inches
Engine Speed 7,000 RPM
Required HP 5.115 <<HP/kW>> 3.764
Thrust generated 30.69 <-Lbs/grams-> 13949

I want to thank everyone for their responses. Especially those of you that offered your own props.
Unfortunately due to procurement regs on our program we can only purchase items from established businesses (has to do with credit card usage and tax laws).
Matt's post was the deal clincher for us. thanks Matt! Since Debbie's RC is a valid 'storefront' we were able to get the Mejzlik prop from them.
Thanks again to everyone that responded!
