RE: zoom blades
Trex blades work great on the Shogun. I've used the 305 and 315 size. They are heavier than shogun stock blades so you need to use a better motor than stock.
Less than 1/2 price of stock blades.

RE: zoom blades
I just managed to try the 315s because the 305s were out of stock. My experience with them was that... it'll do better autorotations and is good for normal flying. If you want to go inverted... don't coz I think it'll definately hit the tail blades when it flexes downwards. Blades are definately heavier and will help magnify any slop you have on your main shaft. Mine did the funky chicken whenever I spooled up and down. Had to take it all apart and re-align the shaft to ensure smooth spool up and no low frequencies vibes. It's a good exercise at least I know the shaft is almost 100% straight now.
