Camshaft timing for an OS .70 surpass.
How is the valve timing set on a OS 70 4 stroke, I have the crank out as well as the camshaft. I don't have an instruction manual. How is the camshaft set with the crank, is there a mark somewhere?
Thanks for your help.

The cam has a helical gear on so it will twist slightly as you put it in. You have to lead the final position.
The rocker arms and pushrod need to be off and the cam followers pushed up out of the way.
The timing dot on some cams is hard to find.
Enjoy,
Jim
