Dick:

I know the single engined BV-141 was flown in several variants, but was the tri-motor ever anything more than a design study?

Bill.

my source in Berlin can not find any more info other than the 3 vu and photos. anyhow its started on the drawing board, at 81" the closeness of the 2 left engines is giving me a little prop clearance problems, may end up with 3 Davis Diesel's. have 2 of them and trying to contact Davis about a 3rd. assume he is still in business. will keep you posted. the 60" Navy Flying Boat from My Uncle Willies, sure looks interesting. dick

my errror. the diesels are not Davis, they are PAW and have contacted Eric Clutton about a 3rd. plans going slowly, had a minor heart attack and am on limited model time, not being able to drive the car is the big pain. drawing plans going slowly-- too many rest peroids and Nadine making sure that I behave. still trying to find futher documentation on the beast. but it sure will be ONE of a kind and my front yard, attached, is waiting for it. dick

too early in the morning. here's my front yard seaplane flying field. slightly salty but a good flush job after flying takes care of the plane. dick
