I had to chuckle at the ad for the foamy with a variable pitch prop.... "for the first time..4D"
Its called an rc helicopter...and its been around for quite a while....<g>

go watch the videos for the ETOC and you will see what everyone is talking about. Its no helicopter!!!! The guy that won this year his flights were unbelievable....

4D is also an unfortunate misnomer that seems to be nearly universally misused.
Reverse pitch doesn't give you an added dimension in 3 Space. It just reverses your track through the path you just came from -- (along the "roll" axis).
It makes more sense to refer to "helicopter like" props for airplanes as "VPP".
And, if that wasn't bad enough--
Horizon started an unfortunate marketing usage of the term "4D" to mean "yaw authority" or what happens when you get more lift from side force generators (SFGs-- a George Hicks coinage).
It would make more sense to consider "time" to be the 4th dimension --- which all planes fly within anyway.
A plane good at "4D" would tend to "survive" through time, in my opinion. Thus "Durability" is a far better usage of "4D".
