Default OMP Yak 65 problems ??

I finished my YAK 65 profile and am having some weird issues.

When flying I cannot seem to trim it for level flight, it keeps wanting to dip, I give elevator trim and it seems to help but then it can start dipping or diving more often than I would like.

I am wondering if I need to put some engine up thrust into it.

Any help would be appreciated cause I am not happy with this plane, I know it's not the plane it's probably something I did wrong when building.

Thanks in advance !!!

Does this happen at all speeds, or does it dip when it slows down and climb when it's powered up?

It might be way tail heavy? Where is your CG at??

Mine flies straight as an arrow, until I slam it full throttle. Then it pitches to the left bad. But that could be caused by the YS 120.

Are your Ailerons straight with the wing. Or do they pitch up or down?

Yeah, the way it flies would seem like it is tail heavy but when I go inverted it flies with little elevator, actually it climbs a little.

I set the CG at the recommended spot in the manual, but I suppose I should double check it.
I balanced it laterally as well.

Both ailerons are set in line with the thrust line that I drew on the root rib.

If it climbs when inverted then you are tail heavy. The more tail heavy a plane is the more pitch sensitive and instability you will have. Move your cg forward maybe 1/4" or more and see what happens. Also make sure all your control linkages are tight with no slop. this includes your servos and interior gear trains. You may have a bad elevator servo that is not centering under flight loads also. That would be the last thing I'd check.

Thanks, I will move the CG forward tonight and see what happens.

I won't be able to fly till tomorrow but I will let you know if that helps.
