RE: SIRIO.27 RACER washer question
Nearly all glow plugs come with a spare "crush seal" (copper gasket) just in case you need to remove the plug for any reason. Technically, your supposed to use it (seal) once, then toss it out when R&R the same plug but most typically reused the same one (seal) till the plug pops.
I cant recall any engine that ever REQUIRED 2 seals to be used on the glow plug.
I suggest you follow the manufacturers plug selection for break in, then compare the "suggested" plug length (threaded portion) to others to determine compatability.

Oh I see. You want to know how many Head Shims (gaskets) are required for a standard head?
Did you change from a turbo head or what? Anyhow, how many shims did it have when you disassembled it? To be safe, I'd install the same number of shims as it had prior to the swap/repair.

RE: SIRIO.27 RACER washer question
Running 20% nitro? Use them all just to be safe. Thats a nice motor, Im like you, Id hate to see it scraped.
You can remove head shims (16% or lower nitro content) and/or add more shims (35% or higher nitro content) but all that is best left to very experienced tuners.
Its much to difficult to explain in depth but it comes down to detonation or pre-ignition, to much compression (not enough shims) can cause pits to occur in the combustion chamber (top of piston and head).
