Default Replace servo with electronic on/off switch

just bought a JR XF631 6 channel radio /w surface frequency modification. I want to use the extra channels to control
various features on the car that require an on/off (e.g. Lights) operation.

How does one hook up such a device to the receiver without the need of a serve? I assume there is additional equipment required to convert the receiver pulses into an actual on/off state. An electronic diagram would be most helpful so that I can build the device myself as I'm no stranger to electronics.
Any help is appreciated

unless those links said about this, try it..
i know you.. us car guys can kill a few servos, so you should have a few with stripped teeth.
take it apart, and if you can replace the pot with 2 2.5k resistors, use the centre wire as common, and the others to each end of a resistor.. now unsolder the motor and attach your electronics for 6V .5A switchable supply
