Default Worldsar 40 covering

I have just received a worldstar 40 in the mail. There was a little bit of damage to the packing box and i was a little suspect of what I may find on the inside. There was also damage packing box of the model. I check ed everthing out and found a depression in the top of the main wing. It dosn't go right through but it is about the size of a thumb. How weel does the covering from World models react to a heat gun? Is it a heat shrink material?

TIA
