RE: rock crawler suggestions
I have a t-maxx 2.5 to and my friend has a revo and we go rock crawling all the time and my t-maxx keeps up with his revo and its all stock except for the robinson disc brake but his revo is a little better at it. so if you asked me just to save money stick with the t-maxx.
So hope that helps.

i would go electric for rock crawling. doing that you get all the torque for the an electric motor. my 2 cents. my buddy has an emaxx w/ the novak brushless system on it and he says that thing screams. he says he getting right around 30 min. run times. for got mention hes running li-poly batteries
