Martin, if you'll do a search for Composite ARF Rookie, you'll find a wealth of answers to your questions. There have been several threads directed at building and flying the Rookie II from several experienced builders and flyers, and you should find all your answers there. If the answers you're looking for are not there, I'm sure there will be a group to step up with the answers if you ask the questions.
