Default Which Profile?

I have been looking at the 47" OMP Edge and Yak and have been thinking about getting the Edge because I have heard it is a little more stable in a hover. I want something pretty stable in a profile. I am wondering though how the 47" Edge compares to the OMP 65" Yak regarding stability.....could someone please enlighten me? I have also looked at the 80" Edge and I would assume it would be perhaps the best but I didn't want to tie up that much money.

Thanks in advance.

Default RE: Which Profile?

The rule is the bigger you get the better they fly. This is no different with profiles. The Edge is generally a more stable platform than the Yak simply due to the wing design. I always tell folks that if you are new to 3d get the Edge platform but if you are more experienced with 3D then go with the Yak. If you are looking for a 90 size bird then the Yak is the only ARF choice now. Even the 65" Yak is extremely stable. Search for some threads in the profile section and read about it.

Go with the 65" Yak. Very stable. Easy to fly. Extremely true.
