Single tank – gas twin

Has anyone attempted to run a single fuel tank in a gas twin? Seems like it should be straightforward without problems.

BillS:

If you mean gasoline type gas, most of them have Walbro or similar carbs that have a built in pump. SHould work with no problem, I'd still advise using separate fuel clunks to feed the engines.

Been there done that...
If you do run one feed line/clunk you had better make it a large one
"T" off into the normal size line to motors... And use large line for vent...
Where normal flying would not present a problem going WOT does even
on smaller motors..
As Bill noted,, best to run seperate fuel pick-up/clunks for each
motor... But again,, make damn sure the vent is large enough to
allow air into tank at sustained WOT operation..

Thanks Robby and Bill for the information. You guys seem to know everything.
I’m simply cobbling something together with limited building skills and don’t need wing tank building complexity.

Thanks again.

Bill.
