Default Bearings going bad?? JPX 260

I have an old JPX 260 that fly my roo, got it from a friend, it is used but works fine but, I am concern because when i turn the rotor by hand !QUOT!hear/feel some frictions!QUOT!, after a flight is more smooth, so;

Are the bearings going bad? shall I be worried if I bearing fails? what happen when a bearing fails?

Thinking about safety........

Hi Matten
Sounds to me as if you have at least 1 bearing failure, had the same problem with my Sophia j450, similar engine, and using the same airframe. I was able to run motor like that for a while , then all of a sudden it seized, luckily after i had landed and was taxi back.
I replaced the bearings with latest cageless design and i think it runs better and smoother than the originals.Contact me if you need any info as i know a guy in Germany that has all info on how to replace bearings.

If the bearing fails at full power, it will most likly kill the rotor, by bending the shaft..

Something to think about... I have a 240 here if anyone needs it..

I have been to the Factory and they showed me how to put them back together.

When you put the cumbustion chamber back on be sure the air holes
are in the middle of the propane holes.
