RE: Battery Questions
i would get a 3300 battery. they give you more power than a 1500. you should also get a prophet charger. that is what i have and it works great. the battery is about $60 and the charger is about $70.

RE: Battery Questions
the alligator clips are optional, say if you want to charge via your car. The charger will come with a regular plug also. I really like the epics, I bought 3 and they are great for practice so far, nice and strong. I am going to purchase a couple high end batteries for when my track opens up in the spring but these are great for bashing. I was torn to get the duratrax dual charger ($75) which charged two batteries at once but didnt have a digital readout, or to get the digital one ($100). I went with the digital and I am glad I spent the extra money. It shows you how many mah are going into the battery, the voltage and the exact amperage you are charging at. Really great, not to meantion it can do nicad or nimh and has a dishcharger.
