Walkera Dragonfly #36 for Pre-Flight sim
Hello everybody!!!!
I've just bought a Dragonfly #36 heli from Walkera and realize that I needed experience on a simulator to fly it.
I noticed in ebay that Pre-Flight supports the 6-channel Walkera TX.
My question is: Has anyone tried this out?
I noticed a few posts about the 6-channel Wlakera TX being difficult to interface to a sim so I thought I'd see if anyone has sucessfuly connected it to Pre-Flight?
Thanks in advance!!!!

Movinout,
I've got a 36 Walkera heli and I've got the Pre-Flight interface for the TX from ebay.
Sim work's beautifully! The helis in Pre-flight are just as unpredictable as the real thing. You can even adjust the sim so you can practice in mild wind. Going from the sim to the heli was easy after about 6-7 hours practice in the sim.

TNT300
Have you got a cable for your 6 channel transmitter?
The plug on the back has a S-video type plug. I assume it then goes to a serial port plug. I could make one of these if I knew the pin out an the cables seem quite expensive. Could someone work out the pin out with a multimeter and post it here.
Thanks in advance
Terry B

I got my PRE-Flight sim and it works fine on my stock Dragonfly #36 TX.
I bought it off eBay last month - it came complete with the full software CD
(with security key number) and the cable interface.
I wouldnt' call it expensive at $26.95!!

I'm really not sure, but for just over the cost of the cable alone, you can get the Pre-Flight interface cable and the upgraded program software too! I have it. It works well. Just tell them which Transmaiiter you have and they ship the correct cable to you.
