Midwest Cap 232 motor mounting ?

Default Midwest Cap 232 motor mounting ?

Hello
I have a Midwest Cap 232 80" W.S.
And i want to mount a walker sachs 3.2 on it But the motor that was on it before was mounted 1/4" to the left of the planes center line the up and down is strait . should i leave it there or should i move it back to center and center . Thanks for looking Keith

Default Midwest Cap 232 motor mounting ?

It was mounted that way in order to compensate for the 2 degrees of right thrust the engine should have. to get the 2 degrees of right-thrust, you must mount the motor to the left

Keith...was our answer in the Giant's discussion right or what? This is the same question and answers you got a few days ago isn't it? Just wondering if I'm losing it here, or if myself as well as others left something out. Don't forget the firewall to thrustline measurement...... :stupid:

yeah I got it all mounted in the same place now . Thanks for all the help .

How about the C.G. LOL I dont trust were it was falling before i changed the motor . All i have left to do is throdle and fuel and Balance . And she will be ready to go .

Hey Keith...here's the site that will give you all pertinent info on your Cap...right down to throws, CG, recomended servo torque...etc...it will help you I think...good luck, and get back to us on how it goes..
