Default Need advice CP or T-REX

Hey everyone. I've been away from the hobby for 20yrs. Then we had glow only, and no gyros. So my skill level is now around advanced beginner. Lately, been goofing around inside with a Blade CX and now I need to get back outdoors. It is almost always breezy (only 5-10mph) where I live and I want get into something bigger and more sophiticated- that's where I need advice. I want a larger machine with some authority. Will the CP do the job for outdoor acrobatics and 3D, or do I need to go larger $ class like the T-Rex ? I prefer the cost of the hopped-up CX over the T-Rex, but am I wasting my time with the CP in light windy conditions??? Confused and don't want to be helicopter poor!

One other Q: When upgraded, can the CP be inverted directly from a hover like T-Rex? It seems even from the World Cup videos that the CP can only roll over into inverted with a little running start. And I have not seen one do a nose or tail over flip.

Blade may have trouble in wind and as previously stated, the T-rex is a much larger heli with more authority in the wind. get a good gyro(gy401 or gy240) and a descent tail servo and remember to keep the head speed up. Enjoy.
