Just Thought I'd chime in here about the scratch built Piper Senneca I had a long time ago. It was a 28" span, balsa fusalage, foam wing, no throttle, no rudder, 2 channel terror! No ground steering, so you pointed it down the runway and let go with both 51 Tee-Dees screeming and pray that they kept doing so. It was very fast, but would not maintain altitude on one fan. When it did flame out (which was often) I would have to roll inverted to kill the remaining engine (it had solid pickups in the tanks). It's last flight was a flame out just after rotation, the guys that witnessed
