I use the lightweight foam pilots from Aircraft International. They are fully painted and weigh very little. They look good, although you can tell they are made from foam. Scott

I haven't had them in my posession... though I am waiting on a couple for persoanl use.
It does look like they are "beer cooler foam" that have been injected into molds. Then they are hand painted. VERY liteweight according to Chip. And with the exception of those $200+ fiberglass pilots, I think they look the best.
