um well when my family bought the house it had a bar in it so we just moved that to the garage and it works great! for in my room I use the top of my dresser.

Depends if you have a garage or not i guess. If you do build/buy a counter against a wall with some drawers below. If you are working in the house you can get a little heavy duty folding table for like 20$.

Just about anything will serve as a bench, even the floor, I have a work bench down in our basement that's heated and cooled and there is also a wetbar, where do you think I spend hour's at a time at? lol

ya any thing will work i use my dresser a lot but never build or take somthing apart on a carpet floor because ive lost countles screwsand small parts.[>:]

I don't work on my carpet cuase of the messiness factor. I've been known to strip down my truck in the middle of my bedroom floor without any newspaper or anything down. It left a ton of grease and oil stains that I can't get out.
