Default sloppy steering-

Hey-- to all the fellow savage dudes-

I noticed that my savage limited edition has devolped some slop or play in the front wheels- I noticed this because the truck was sitting on a block wheels in the air and I went to check the play in the front tires- should this play be there??

if not what is the problem??

whats the fix??

anyone else had this happen??

thanks-

Default RE: sloppy steering-

A little play is normal but look at the steering components closely while wiggling the front wheels
to spot excessive play.
My LE seemed to have loose steering , but on closer inspection I noticed a lot of play at the top
of the left side steering pivot arm, I removed the radio box and took a closer look,
the pivot was missing the top plastic bushing from the factory, I made one out of some scrap I had and the
steering is a lot better.
