Makes me want to check my engine out now after looking at that picci. I had the one way bearing housing wear against my first SH.28 crank, but nothing like that

Do you have the old .32 or the V2 .32?
Not sure if you know the difference or not...V2 has an outside one way like the hpi...the old 1 has an internal one way.
I think this is why they changed it to the outside?

I have the OWB on the inside, hence the rubbing on the conrod. It literally ground half its thickness away before I pulled it down in frustration due to erratic stalling at mid rpm.
It started to chew out a new conrod after 2-3 tanks again and stall after about 20-30 seconds due to glow plug fowling with metallic particles from the conrod.

I pulled the back plate off my engine today to check if I had the same probs (engine was out anyway due collapsed clutch bearing). You must be very unlucky as the internals of my engine still look good with no signs of fouling anywhere.

Everyone I have spoken to is seeing scuff marks on the lower edge of the piston skirt.
the scuffing maybe coming from the piston cocking sideways on a downward stroke hitting the exhaust port bottom edge.
Some one and their infinite grinding skills @werks opened the exhaust port a little to much removing the centre split causing this problem.
if anyone notices this I would suggest to send in for warranty as eventually it will rob power and destroy it self during a run.
I don't believe the .30's suffer from this as they have a different piston & liner.

The new version 2 .32 does not have an issue here.
The change is ,they put the OWB on the outside of the engine ,rather then on the inside.
