Maybe you didn't see this before the server crash when it was lost but sixstringlz found out what his issue was. It's probably the same thing that is happening to you too. He sent his receiver back to BW and they found that the voltage pot for video was turned down a .5v too much. Once that was adjusted it fixed the problem.

My camera just won't accept an analog IN signal but does have firewire for digital IN. So, I have to have that converter to get a digital signal from the receiver but it's been acting like a jackass lately and I'm having to set and reset things to get the video to show up. Once it's there, it's fine and doesn't have any issues.

That's interesting, however the eyecam does not work with my DV whether I use the standard eyecam receiver, or the expensive diversity receiver!

Also, if I plug in a black widow video downlink tx feed of a standard digital camera to the Diversity RX, I DO get signal on the Sony DV.

So the only thing common in the problem is the eyecam transmitter.

Oops. I just remembered that it was the transmitter that was adjusted and not the receiver. So that may be it.

ah, that makes more sense

Is this something that I could do myself here, or is it a back to Draganfly Innovations job?

sixstringlz sent it all back to BW for them to adjust. I don't know if DFI does it or not.

Hi,

I just had an email back from Bill at Black Widow AV and he informs me that they have no dealings with Draganfly at all!

So who did you use for the repair???

My setup is from blackwidowav, I don't have a rctoys eyecam system but I do have my blackwidow system on my draganflyer. So he repaired the system he sold me from his site. I was just having the same problem as you and thought this would be a good place to find help. So I hope that by finding out what fixed mine can help you guys fix yours from Rctoys. Thanks

Now I'm convinced my eyecam is fine, as my diversity rx. I;ve shipped the eyecam back to DFI to get a SAVS mount and have it rewired for this, and also ordered an ADS Pyro video converter from BH Photo (half the price of ebay!)

Fingers crossed x

nickruss, why did you get the ADS unit if you're still not getting a signal to your camera? The ADS unit will not solve the problem of not getting a signal at all. It's just a converter but you still have to get a signal first.

I do get a signal from the eyecam to a TV, just not the sony. Hopefully the ADS will help in converting the video signal to my sony DV will produce something it can accept.

I can input the signal from a Blackwidow transmitter to the Sony DV no problem.

I can input the video signal from a digital camera to the DV as PAL, but if I switch to NTSC, I get the blue screen.
