DA 100 Low Throttle Power Sag
I have a CompArf 2.6m yak w/ DA100 / NX 27X10 / headers / mtw canisters.
I have a major power sag at low throttle. Put it in a hover and slowly back the throttle down... suddenly the engine will hit a point and then sag almost as if it wants to quit - so I then have to goose the throttle. The same is true doing anything with a low throttle setting. It is like there is a major lack of power for the first third of the throttle travel. Any tips or ideas that might help me?
Thanks,
ArmandD

The first thing to do would be to try adjusting the low needle. Maybe you are rich and loading up. Stay away from inverted harriers, I was able to safely land my DA 50 powered Edge after the engine quit at idle during an inverted harrier. A half roll when your stalled is a little tricky, so low to the ground, without engine power.

Thanks for the replies. Keep 'em coming.
I am planning on slowly leaning the low needle as I fly today (should be able to run another 2 gallons through it today). I will add updates/progress reports as the issue either develops or gets solved.
