I got a hpi pro 4 with a 98 tooth spur gear and wanted to know for high speed do i go up with the pinion gear or down . i have a 23 tooth pinion in it right now with the novak ss5800 brushless motor. and also looking for a good set up for short track for quick accaration

Go up in pinion or down in spur for speed. Probably either 24/98 or 25/97 will do.
