For $54.99 at Tower Hobbies you can get the Hitec 5945mg servo with 168 oz of torque,it's dustproof,and waterproof,it's good for single steering set up..

Here is a real inexpensive solution for you.
Buy yourself a stock MGT servo/servo saver and a 6.0V Rx pack.
You might even get by with just the stock MGT servo saver on the Traxxas servo.
Either way, you really need the Rx pack to make it all work. Throw away batteries just don't do the job.

Anyway, ther 645MG is the best servo for its price. All you have to do is find someone who sells it really cheap.
