Default Interfierance trouble???

I've been flying my CA 300L for the last couple of months and have had no problems. Now I've started getting a glitch, or hit, while I'm flying. Its just a momentary glitch, but it seems to affect the ailerons and motor. I've done lots of range checks and they are always good, even at full power. Once I see the glitch I land the plane fine and do another range test and every thing is good. I'm running dual reciever batteries and switches. The motor is a Taurus 3.2 running a CH ignition on 4.8 volts. Any one have this kind of trouble and fixed it before a crash?

This will seem silly, but try changing out the plug. Also check the condition of the ignition battery. I've experienced what seem to be similar glitches that were eliminated by either of the suggestions.

Thanks Silver,
Im planning on installing a new ignition switch to see if that helps. I've moved the ignition to outside the motor box and wrapped some wires in electrical tape.

I put two flights on it today and I think the problem is fixed. I put a new ignition switch in, moved the ignition, and pulled off the aluminum tube off the pump vent and replaced it with a plastic one. No glitches today.

I expect it was the "aluminum tube on the pump" removal that fixed the problem.

Thanks Dick, I'm guesing that might have been the problem also. I never used aluminum before, but it bends easy and its rigid. I'll not use it again.

Hey Steve, how's that CA flying for you? Now that you have a summer under your belt with it, let's here some comments on flight performance/characteristics. I'm really curious because I don't think I'll ever be able to fly mine.

The plane flys very well. I've latteraly ballanced the plane and it makes a big differance in water falls and hariers. It flys nice and true. Almost no cupling in knife edge and slow and low high alfa knife edge is great. The taurus engine is more than enough power to pull out of a hover and it hovers very easily. Flat spins are nice and flat, and slow. The motor is still breaking in and I'm fine tuning it every couple of flights until it gets broke in good. I've got about 50 flights on it now, and had a couple tonight. High alfa rolling hariers are good too. Here are a couple of photos of Wednesdays flights. The camera I have frezes the frame when you push the button so its very hard to take moving photos.
