Ok thanks, I guess I will just store it and have 2 extra motors then, meaning the 2.5 R and the XTM....I also have a Monster GT think it will just bolt in.....

You need a Big Block conversion kit and the New Era kit is the only one that will work (well) with a pullstart engine. The Qoncepts kit is a better kit but, you need a non-pull start engine and a starter box. I have both kits if your wondering how I know.

Take the spin start off the back of your LST or LST2 engine and see if it clears with your current setup. I don't know much about swapping a BB into a Revo, but that engine will bolt in place of the Picco, and the Mach spin starter fits it... so you might as well see.

Well if you already have a 28 in your revo then whats the problem? ISn't the new XTM engine just a 28 ?

i just got a used 2.5revo w/ a xtm457/.28 in it. it has a new era mount and a roto-start backplate. aluminum upper rear arms to clear the roto. came with 19t/36t. could outrun it on a bicycle! changed to[parts on hand] 14t/40t. now it just wants to back flip. did land my first 2 black flips ever with it though!

The XTM looks bigger so I thought I would ask before I started to take it apart.Looks like I can just drop it in, that is after I get a new clutch bell.Where can I get a clutch belll for it.....
