Head on with a LOsi.....
Hey all,
I was running my revo last night and a Buddy of mine had a team Losi stadium truck. We got them both tuned to scream and we are darting around a parking lot after work. Well as the title says we hit each other head on, both at full speed. He runs about 45MPH and I run about the same. My revo is perfect, did a back flip, landed on its tires and I drove off.... The whole front of his truck looks like a bomb went off in it. I mean its screwed!! Even broke his frame and all front mounting bolts. I feel freakin horrible about this, but in reality it wasn’t my fault, kind of both of ours for not paying that good of attention. I cant believe my truck has no damage....nothing at all. I didn’t even have a body on her at the time. I’m tracking down parts for the guy to see what its going to cost, and will probably get him some stuff just to end this crappy feeling like I did something to a true friend, need to clear the air of this. But, man... I cannot believe the damage my truck inflicted without even marking the tires. I haven't checked her out completely, but from what I saw when it happened... I’m completely un-damaged.
Jump it off a cliff, run it into other trucks at full speed, the revo is just a freakin monster.... period

I think it's great that you're considering taking partial responsibility for your friend's parts.
As drivers, yes you are responsible for knowing where your truck is heading, but there's not really a way to know what other drivers will do. Around my track, it is the vehicle owners who are responsible for repair of their own vehicles, no matter how they broke. It's pot-luck what gets broken. I once "ran over" a B2 buggy that jumped track lanes. The buggy was undamaged, but I broke an axle in the process. I didn't ask the other driver to pay for parts. Just laughed it off and fixed it myself.

Yeah, It was the xxx-nt.... Front end is busted. Just talked to the guy and he said there was about 10 dollars worth of damage. Everything that snapped off was on one part, and the part itself failed, not the parts screwed to it..... but man did it look bad.
IM gonna buy him lunch monday. least I could do...
as far as beeing attentive, We were in a large parking lot. my truck was comming towards me so I had my back to his. AS soon as the truck was passing me, I hit him... he was in the same shape with where he was standing and his line of sight.... guess it was a one in a million... still feel bad.

No ***** it exploded. It's a freaking xxx-nt. It's sole purpose is racing, and even the slightest mishap ends up in broken parts.
If it were a xxx-nt AD2, even more so.
Be glad it wasn't a LST2, or ur truck would be the destroyed one.
But you shouldn't be amazed at all. A tiny ST will just bounce off the tires
