Default BabyJoe 50N fuel ramp trouble...

Hi guys

my first post on this forum and my first question...
I bought few weeks ago a BabyJoe 50N turbine for my Savex Tigermeet F16 [8D]
It works great but since yesterday, a fuel ramp is blocked, I can't speed up over 100 000 rmp.... flame out...

I've tried few starts, pluged directly the fuel pump on the blocked fuel line and run it to increase pressure, hoping it could unblock it, no way....

Any help?

Thx in advance....

mmm aaaarrrrggggghhhhhh!!! noooooooooooooooo
now i understand why you needed a new fuel pump , you should have asked me what to do first.
i would have told you to just squeeze the fuel in with a bottle you would have the same results......
sorry you will need to go back to the guy who sold you the turbine...
and put it somewhere where the sun never shine,s.
didnt you seen it run?

reasons why i dont service these kind of engine.

1: i had one a long time ago , i now use it as a paper weight next to my computer as mentioned a long time ago by the manufacturer.i believe my colleages just converted the turbine to a ashtray..
2: i just got divorced, thank you.
3: my balancer just got a fever...
4: dremel exploded.
5:i am away on a extended vacation....

sorry friend you are on your own.
however i will buy back the fuel pump you got from me, if you want ,those actualy work...
it is to bad that people sell other people,s troubles.
this way customers in the future are afraid to buy something again.

??? What a post... lol

I'm very pleased you are away on a extended vacation... the best job of the word... and sorried for your divorce...
For the fuel pump, it was really losing a lot of fuel, very usefull for the barbecue, not for run a turbine...
I will return the turbine to JetJoe, hoping, it will correctly run after...

Just another question, do you have in stock Jet 1A wheel + airbreak 76mm ?
Is it possible to set them on a Hawe strut?

ps : wheels are on stock.. no idea i need the hawe measurements.

fuelpump: i am sure mine was not the leaking one..
you could mount the original JJ pump inside the tank ,if it starts leaking it will be inside the tank[8D]

Here is the main link that Digitech was hinting to regarding the JJ owners and their problems. [:@]

http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_29...tm.htm#4989829

Having read the online advice you'll appreciate why Digitech would rather be doing something (anything) other than servicing a JJ. [:-][:-] Many of the wiser jet jocks have multiple filters to protect the ultra fine injectors from blocking. Wren and Peter Haesul suggest running the punps on a loop and filter for few hours to bed in first before use and collect any fines or rubbings off the gears that block the injector needles up.

a look what a service.
now you will be up and running in a day or so...........

he is called peter hausl , and no he bought a Flightworks 200B series.
and the 100K problem is NOT caused by a blocked fuel line...
mine had that 2 years ago also he has the old 50N version.
the "paperweight" version.
maverick do yourself a favour.
send the turbine back and get a refund , save some money and buy something else please , you will have no problems.
Paul: why dont you help him?

Digitech I doubt this will ever run this year or next, though I'm still left wondering why a Flightworks could not pump fuel if the fuel manifold injectors are all clear?

Maverick you have bought an early JJ turbine lemon? [>:]JJ just so much Jet Junk I'd suggest using it as a model boat anchor as there will be no refund or support. I'm busy playing with my own toys and keeping in my wifes good books. I'd suggest getting hold of a MW44 or a Lambert T51 V2 and keeping the Flightworks for that use.

Peter Hausl in German has the .. over the 'a' when you translate into english as Peter has done on his own web site you get ae i.e Haeusl, so I hope he won't mind.
