Default wont start....please help

please help me......my traxxas stampeede wont start......i know its not the glow plug. the fuel is old but would this prevent it from starting? and i have the older ez start with the wires on it and the yellow wire pulled out of the box....what this wire does? i dont know..could this prevent the truck from starting?

the yellow wire is to ground the spark plug if that is not on the engine then the plug will not work

do your self a favor and buy a glow starter, it will make your life much easier.

glow starter? and BTW i tryed taking the ez start unit apart but it didnt work.....so now i need a new one....will one for a T-maxx or revo work? i have started this truck with a T-maxx starter but is it ok to do this?
