If you are going to spend bib (oh sheet, typo) "BIG" bucks on the Vantage Extended Chassis, I would STRONGLY stay away from the qoncepts mount, it offers little or no strength and or support to the engine bracket area...especially on landings and large knocks in that area. I would choose another method of mounting a BB and Im not talking New Era or Traxxas either. Although qoncepts does have the engine lower in the chassis than most, but the piano hinge self-fabricate method is far from good and its severly over priced for what it is. Now, if they had made thier own billet version of the BB mount that was more thoroughly thought out and better designed, I would endorse it with merit, but I bought this product for my CF chassis and I sent it back ASAP after comprehending the total packages benefits and non-benefits.

This is of course my opinion so by all means, take it with a pinch of salt at your own descression though.

mine:

Revo 2.5r (dunno what color???? probably red, yellow or black, the blue isn't my fave)
Picco .26 max engine
OFNA mount for the engine
Some good luck with my dremeling the mount
good luck with the engine break in
good luck with the optidrive and transmission
good luck with the servos
and good luck with the stock parts holding up to the picco until I can get some 23 mm hexes and proline wheels and some alloy cups.

Thanks for the input on the extended CF chassis have not purchased this yet but just may go with the stock 3.3 Traxxas chassis for now as I have heard the Quoncepts mount is about the best compared to the New Era and Traxxas mounts and add Quoncepts engine
mount brace as well.

Yeah the same research led me to buy it aswell. Its just not good for the CF chassis I believe though. I did however also buy the qoncepts engine brace and put that nasty boy right on there. But again, I used 1.3cm diameter washers and made flush with the chassis to give the brace more purchase on the chassis and also so that the bolts do not chew through the carbon...apart from that, its a winner. I endded up with the (Im going to kick myself for saying this) with the Integy mount [IT WAS AN OLD PURCHASE AND IT WAS LAYING AROUND SO I USED IT] (apart from that I boycot all integy parts) and a Hot racing BB kit...modded.

that CF wing is VERY sweet indeed. Im just too scared to buy it as I know it would get totally trashed in the first race or the first bash session. Just a few lid-tumbles and it would be paste. But I still want one though...OH DAMN this subliminal need to purchase...**in walks the boss** "sorry sweetheart, no...NO, Im not buying a thing.[:-]
