How to trim a dragonfly 4
[&:]Hi guys I'm new to this forum and RC helicopters! I've purchased a dragonfly 4 and have had it for 3 weeks now and I cant seem to trim it so it can hover steadily. It keeps drifting to the left or right. What do I do to correct this and from there, is it easy to hover? [&:]

RE: How to trim a dragonfly 4
please dont expect the draganfly to stand steadily in mid air. it doesn't happen that way. I also expected it to hover magically but then realized that it takes some practice, first of all to overcome the fear of crashing, and then to get a feel of the whole flying experience. Trimming is done to the extent that the draganfly can take off vertically without any hangups, ie., it goes up straight when u increase the throttle. If it does not then use the trims to adjust it such that it takes off vertically. Once it reaches say 2 mts don't expect the draganfly to magically stay in one place. It won't. U have to use slight stick controls to keep it in one place which takes some good practice. The only difference with the draganfly and conventional helicopters is that the learning curve is much shorter. Also mild crashes will really not break anything on your draganfly except for the " Blades" of course.

Actually the simulator came free with the helicopter along with free blades (main and tail) free training kit, extra battery and the sim cord and sim cd. All you do is put the cd in your computer and download the simulator. Once downloaded, the take the sim cable, plug it into the back of your transmitter and the other end into the usb port on your computer and your flying!!
