Default having some truck problems...

ok i have a nitro evader st,

I am getting nothing from it, batteries are good, the light on my controler comes on and such, i click the on switch normally and you hear the servos turn on, but currently i turn it on and nothing happens,

i know i am not giving much information for everyone to work with here to start, but if i could get some ideas on what to check or what some possible causes are for the electronics to die it would be very helpful.

Default RE: having some truck problems...

ok well i found the problem, somewhere between where the batteries are and the connector for the reciever something went wrong...sooooo i also have an eflite blade that the battery for it has the same connection, its a 9.6v 650 mah ni-mh and if i plug that in it works just fine, using that battery insted of my rechargables in the original holder will not cause any problems will it???

Yes, it could. If not right away, certainly long term the reciever and servos are at risk of being damaged from running that much extra voltage through them.
