It doesnt matter how fast i go when i hit the brakes and let go my buggy goes by itself.The only way i fix this problem is by changing the throttle trim then changing it back to normal,though every time i hit the brakes i have to do this.I dont like hitting the brakes because of this,the car will go by itself.Even if i keep hitting the breakes the car wont go back to normal.What is my problem and how can i fix this?
P.S I have a VH-X5 nitro 4wd buggy 1/10 scale.

Try sdjusting your idle speed or your throttle linkage.

Ok so it idles lower?I will experiment.I idle my car on about 2.5mm so it doesnt stall on me...so it may stall.

its sounds like when you release the brakes and the servo returns to neutral position it is opening the carb a little

had the same prob on my savage sorted by tightening the throtle return spring and turning the balljoint on the linkage to the carb a couple of times to extend it and force the throttle closed


have you got a throttle return spring on?

Yeh i have a throttle return spring,whenever i hit the breakes the carb doesnt reurn back to normal your right.When you turn the ball joint did you loosen or tighten it?
