what about mud and water
im new to the electric rc world, always done nitro, and to crawlers. thinking of building a stick rig. whats the possibilities of doing electric stick clod crawling around creek rocks w/ water, and even mudd?

Easy to do. Most put their electronics in a ballon then zip tie the end. You could even put some dielectric grease on the balloon opening after closing it to make it even more waterproof. Be sure to use stainless steel or perhaps brass bearings so they dont rust.

that is a really great video. It show the off-road capabilites of these little rigs, i mean there is really no were you cant go. Or at least try to go, being waterproof you dont have to worry.
One of my favorites is the one with the blue clod body. But really i liked all those trucks, except i am not big on cadilac bodies

motors do not need water proofing, you can run it directly in water, electricity follows the least amount of resistance, therfore the water has no effect. A lot of guys even use water to break in new electric motors.
But when you are running in muddy water, it does make you motor were out faster, it is a good idea to spray some rc cleaner in there to get out all the dirt, and everyonce in a while to take it apart to really give it a good cleaning!
