im trying to charge my car and when i plug it in the light on the charger lights up for about 5 mins then goes out i dont know if this means the battery is no longer charging.
the charger has 2 cords on it one for the car and one for the control but i have regulat batteries in it .

also when i try to start the car (it has a pull start ) should i leave the glow plug on for awhile before i try to start it ?

sorry for all the basic questions but someone gave me this and its all new to me .

well i cant charge the control because there is regular batteries in it that are new, so im trying to charge the car but the red light wont stay on
