Brand New to the sport
Alright guys...
I've raced Kyosho Mini-Z's for the last year or two, decided it was time to move on up. I'll have a HPI Nitro RS4 in my posession soon. I know there's a lot to learn with this sport, so I'm looking to see if anyone can point me in the right direction.
Is there any site that has a good collection of articles on my type/style of car? I'd like to learn as much as possible before I go blabbing my mouth about things I don't know.
Thanks!

If you really want to learn about the RS4, dig through the HPI site.
http://www.hpiracing.com/kits/rtrnitro3/rtr3-m.htm
They have the full manual on line to download. At the very least, you can familiarize yourself with the car so you have some clue about what's what when you get it.
Also, you are already in the best place you can be to learn more about the sport. There's a ton of knowledgeable people in this forum and you can learn a lot from them (Crash Me Over, Dbow, Jeeptuff & Krusty come to mind ).
Good luck!

Also, there is a search box at the top of the home page here that you can go to to answer some questions that have been asked or anything else you might want to know about your car.

Well, to start I think you made a good start with the company of your car....excellent choice of car 2 . Now........I've read a little on yer car but I can't remember weather it's a 2 or 4wd but all I've got to say is be patient with break in.......and if it's a pull stat it's gonna be hard to pull the pull start for the first few tanks. 4wd is a total pain in the area of maintanance but is very good for your handling.(it's fun 2 power slide I hear) TAKE YOUR TIME WITH BREAK IN OR FACE THE CONCEQEUNCES!!!! I'd suggest you have money set aside for new parts and I would consider it wise for you to invest in a temperature gauge for your engines safety....Also remember......you can't hurt the engine by running the engine rich but you can hurt it by running too lean so be careful......Sry I don't have any website directories but hopefully this helps you out. GOOD LUCK I'LL BE HAPPY TO HELP IN ANY WAY I CAN!
