Default T-maxx rear pipe?

Hi,

I bought a T-maxx .15 ( don't laugh) 2 years ago and I've been updating it to 3.3 specs. Alright, so I've got a Os .18 TM for it and I need a pipe. I'm sick of blowing crap on my rear right shocks so I decided to get a rear pipe. I don't really know which one to get. I've been thinking about [link=http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXEPJ3&P=ML]this one[/link] for it. I've heard some bad things bout rear pipes though...If anybody would like to comment on this pipe or has any suggestions for another one PLEASE post it!

thanks!

Default RE: T-maxx rear pipe?

Ive heard that tsais makes a good rear pipe, i think u might have to buy a header for the .18 tm but here is a link to the pipe [link=http://cgi.ebay.com/TSAIS-DUAL-REAR-EXHAUST-PIPE-TSTMX02-T-MAXX-2-5-3-3-NEW_W0QQitemZ110030965921QQihZ001QQcategoryZ44028Q QssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem]>>Here<<[/link]

And RD logics makes a rear pipe aswell here is a link for that one [link=http://cgi.ebay.com/RD-Logics-TWIN-TUNED-PIPE-POLISHED-T-MAXX-O-S-OS-18-TM_W0QQitemZ280066913744QQihZ018QQcategoryZ44028QQ ssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem]>>here<<[/link]

I've heard both good and bad about both. So hopefully someone else can help. [8D]

No.... as a matter a fact I haven't. But I haven't been driving any recently because I don't have an exhaust.

Any other ideas on a pipe?

TSAIS exausts are not a scam. One pipe does not fit all. Each pipe is made and tested for the brand it goes on. The T-Maxx pipe is tuned for the traxxas engine and OS 18. Mine performs great. Top end, low end all is the same if not better.

Big joe - trim the body a bit more around the egnine/needle. What happens on the older MAXX's is the body compresses and that snaps the HS needle

Will the TSAIS dual rear exhaust fit a S-MAXX? I was thinking about putting one on my S-MAXX, and thought since it is the same chasis it would. Will I have any problems that anyone knows about? Thanks.

I have the RDLogics branded version of the Tsais pipe. I had tuning issues when I was running the 2.5R motor, but it works really well with my Picco .26. Lots of bottom end improvement ( flips my Maxx on it's lid easier) more top end too, plus it sounds cool. You'll have the loudest Maxx around.
I haven't been able to find any actual proof, but Integy, Tsais, RDLogics and now Imex all "brand" the same exact products.
