RE: HELP! tranny gear stripped
imo no metal gears will just transfer the force into the rest of tranny
loosen up the slipper & verify proper mesh and try to be off throttle when landing big air

RE: HELP! tranny gear stripped
Robinson Racing doesn't make metal gears for this tranny, the trannsmission they make metal gears for is the T-Maxx 2.5, the tranny in the T-Maxx 3.3 is the same as in the Revo, and they don't make metal trannsmission gears for the Revo.

RE: HELP! tranny gear stripped
been there done that!!!!! i had same problem when i got done with break in.. stripped spur then replaced, but truck wouldnt move[:@] pulled trans apart and found same forward gear stripped. replaced it and put white litheom grease in trans seams to shift better. i had a problem with servo not adjusted right for going into forward & reverse, you had to plimp throttle to get it to move once you moved the switch. truck was sitting still and i hit the throttle and thats when the gear stripped!!!!! once i adjusted the servo rod now it goes in & out forward, reverse with no problem, and i have stripped spurs but no trans gears. oh it is a tmaxx 3.3 sorry for long post ,but hope this helps

RE: HELP! tranny gear stripped
Hey 69eyes, I to have stripped the same gears a couple of times 1st due to a stripped reverse servo gears causing it to slip into reverse at high forward speed. 2nd time truck was aprox. 100ft away and the servos started glitching for some reason allowing the reverse servo to engage while moving forward at high speed. Make sure these are not your problems before you strip addtional gears. If I figure out the glitch I will give you an update mean while keep on trucking.
