Default Trinity after-burn oil

Hey is anybody using the Trinity after-burn oil? I'm putting like 6 drops of oil into both the carb. and combustion chamber. But it seems like its not enough because i see a little orange rust throughout the inside of the engine. How much drops do you guys put in?

thanks

I use a different ARO...i think it's hobbico or something, I had rust in my engine too[:@] If its surface rust, try to reove it with polishing it, idk the propper way of doing it but someone else might chime in here and tell you how, I used 3-4 drops, with O'donalds 30% fuel.

I use Hobbico as well. I also use the O'donalds 30% race fuel and have never had a prob yet. I wouldn't worry about a little surface rust, I would just change the oil you use. I'm not sure what the difference is between after run oil and after burn oil.

after-burn and after-run oil are the same (according to trinity). But anyhow, my trinity after-burn oil smells an awful lot like wd-40...thats weird.

my Hobbico brand after-run oil is nothing more that re pakaged Marvel Mystery oil. i will not be making that mistake again. i will get a quart of marvel for what i paid for 3 tiny bottles and just refill the bottle.

wd-40 works just as well as any oil sold as an after run oil

Marvel Mystery oil is the way to go and less that half the price. From my experience restoring antique cars and work with bare sheet metal, wd-40 is not a rust inhibitor, It will infact attract moisture. That is a known fact, check it out.

I don't care about a sales pitch, I am telling you from experience. Spray bare sheetmetal with wd40 and in a couple of days it has surface rust. That is a known fact and you would have to be an idiot to disagree.[sm=bananahead.gif]
