Default Hey Bro's I learned something lol.

I thought I would stand out a bit in Houston and maybe learn something and save a bit of change by doing things a bit odd but. I will never again use foam for ribs unless I am not at all in a hurry lol. It takes a long time for the glue to set with the balsa. Unless I should be using something else? I have been using Pica glue and Titebond II,

Okay I found something at Tower Foam safe glue but is it any good? I was thinking of getting the thick but how long does it take to cure? They that is Tower mentioned a lenthy cure time but just did not stipulate how long that is.

Now for the plane. I am scratching out an upsized wasp wing that is a 16 in cord without ailerons 3in thick and 48 wing span.

And the fuse is also blue foam sheeted with 1/16 balsa and I think about 54 long.

I think I may just throw a YS.63 in it and put the tank in the wing on the balance point or that is just an idea if anyone here has good advice please feel free.

Thanks all you Balsa Snorters

Default Hey Bro's I learned something lol.

I used some Pro Bond poly glue.. Works really great.. You gotta wet the surfaces before you aply the glue. Works as a catalyst.

Try "oderless" CA. It is safe for most types of foam including EPP and EPS, but I've never tried it on blue foam.
