But can you get them for $9.99 and can your child use them for camping when you are not???

It would be great for when the kids go with you to the flying field. Pop off the wing bags, throw the kids in the bags, tie them to the car, and off you go and fly. What could be simpler?

Hey Mike Bogh,

You talk a good game, but you know and I know, in our club, no one is going to take you seriously. Are you an AMA member yet or just pretending again?

Well Bish the AMA has a site you can check anytime.
Speaking of talking a good game, I'm sure the folks here don't realise that you can't or won't fly your overweight good looking bricks you call planes. Oh, that's right you build scale hangar queens, I forgot.
The last time I saw you fly was a few years ago when you planted that Spacewalker in the field. Oh, and didn't you say that what, you got "hit"?
Yea, right.

Ok, this is going to stop right here. Bish, for some unknown reason you have decided to flame Mike and Mike has answered in kind, but it will stop right here. If any more flaming posts are posted the poster will be warned that they are on thin ice and their post will disappear. I do hope that I have made my position on this very clear and if either has a problem with the other I would suggest that it be taken back door and not hashed out in these forums.

Yes I opted to go with wingtote.com. Much better customer service attitude and decent pricing/shipping. Also I'm happy that at least a few people see that a free market economy means we're not stuck ordering items from a less than reputable dealer.

Anybody know of anyone selling wing transports/protectors for bi-planes?

There is a DP Ultimate with my name on it at the LHS...

I decided that my sleeping bag wing bags were going to be a problem because they were over sized.
I trimmed the bag down using scissors and then sealed the seam up with Super Coverite which sticks beautifully. I put it on the inside and out.

Wingtote.com just cut there prices with the 2003 releases. They look sensational and are about half the cost. No excuses on having to cut and sew lightweight sleeping bags. I just picked up a set and the quality is TOP notch! They will custom make any size/style you want. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anybody!

I just sent them my custom dimensions for a quote.
I will be anxious to see how close they can get to my $19.99 custom made set.

Did a search for "wingbags" and stumbled across this thread. "Crybaby", wow...

Anyway, noticed that someone opted to buy from Wingtote instead of Wingbags.com. Funny, now they appear to be the same outfit, if I type www.wingbags.com I get wingtote.com. I hope the company with the better service won out!!!

I was looking for good sources for wingbags. I did a Yahoo search and stumbled into this thread. (Actually, I "stepped" into it). LOL

I would have to concur with the Hobby-Pak suggestion.
I ordered a wing bag from them for my BME/PAU Extra 330L and I had a issue with what they were going to charge in shipping when I added the Logo to the bag. They wanted an additional 3.00 for the logo in shipping charges. I talked with them thru email and they gave me the 3.00 back when I made my order. Very good company to work with and a excellent product. If I need to order another wing bag set they will be the first I contact.
John
