OWB..??..??
I have had pipe issues in the past where fuel would escape out the engine where the header pipe and it connected.(a bad /no gasket) which I assumed was leading towards my OWB
slipping. When I took off the ez-start it was nasty. So I cleaned 'er up and no problem, fired up. Next , I replaced my front bulkhead and put my new pipe on to take care of my issue
with the fuel getting to my OWB.Afterwords tried to start it and... ol' yea I ran a tank through it before hand so it started to slip. Took it back apart wiped it off and it started.
Since Ive had the pipe on it Its started fine (about 2 tanks) but tonight was trying to start it but couldnt get it to fire up. It would almost catch but wouldnt cross the line to start idle.
So , Ithought I hadnt changed a glow plug in a while so I tried it and it fired up.
Anyway I guess my question is if mw OWB goes bad will It not "catch" whe turning clock-wise? I think im saying this correct but I thin if you place the bearing on the shaft it spins
freely counter-clock-wise. and well you get it. How can I check?

RE: OWB..??..??
when looking at the engine from the front, the end with the clutch bell, the engine should turn freely counter clockwise (thats the direction it will start in) and you should not be able to turn the engine over clockwise.
