im a noob, so bear (bare?) with me. what does it mean when i accelerate and it sounds like to much fuel is in the engine and it bogs down and dies. is that the high speed or low speed needle? does it need to be richened or leaned?

Its the HSN needs to be leaned out. Always start by adjusting that first.

To lean turn it clockwise. Do 1/8th turns, very little increments.
