Cen GST 7.7
The other day my brother in law bought a brand new CEN GST 7.7 I was just curious what you guys think about that truck. Is it tough? Fast? Do you think its better than a Revo? To me I think it is by far one of the coolest looking trucks I have ever seen.

you do relies this is the traxxas mt forum, and most the guys here are gonna say the revo is better.
personally i think it's the perfect example of American car design, big inefficient engine in a big over sized truck, so it suits Americans perfectly lol.

i wasn't degrading or insulting, that is my view on the CEN, although i have been thinking about buying one myself, been hearing a lot of good reviews on them in the last few months, only drop a nova 528 in it instead of the nx 7.7.

I relise oops, I mean realize exactly what forum this is. Alot of people on this forum seem to know what they are talking about, plus this is the only one I use so it made sense to me to post that question.

well you can keep the question going here, or you can start a new topic in the general MT forum, you will usually find fairly unbiased comments here though (with the excepion of a few die hard traxxas fans that is).
all in all i think the GST is a good truck, i particularly like the braking system, 4 steel disks, as long as you run a servo strong enough you'll be able to stop on a dime even with a truck that big, the only part of the truck i don't like is the engine, it's a .46, but go dynoed at only 1.58 HP, when some of the top end .28 engines were making the same power, and one, the novarossi 528 made over 2 horsepower.

RE: Cen GST 7.7
I was at the track this past weekend smoking 3.3's with my Picco and nothing there could touch it until this cen 7.7 came. Those are wicked fast and built like a mac truck. The only thing is it was wayyy too much power for a small track. I was still able to beat him around the track but in a straight line drag it was not even close. The Cen took it every time and by a huge margin. I like the cen 7.7 but not if you are on a track.
