jammin pipe for LRP Z28?
Hey all I've been lookin at the jammin pipes and I'm having a hard time deciding which one I need for the engine I'm going to purchase. I'm looking at the LRP Z.28R spec 3 non-pullstart, from evrything I've read it has massive torque so a JP-2/3 would be better but then others say JP-1 is for racing. I will be bashing and racing on a private track but it's still important to kick my friend's ass ya know? I'm leaning toward JP-2/3. I guess my real question is, I've only had stock pipes up till now so how much impact on the low end does the JP-2/3 have? I mean will I have less low end than I do with a stock pipe?
As a side note, when you purchase an engine it doesnt come with clutch/flywheel/etc so will the one ffrom TTR PRO-28BX-R work? Sorry for the noob questions, I dont want you to buy it for me just let me know what kind of impact of fixed tuned pipe has on the other end for which it was not designed. i.e. does JP-2 kill low end vs. a stock pipe? does JP-1 kill the high end vs. a stock pipe? or will the performance be better overall with much more emphasis on the end for which it is designed? hope this makes sense, thanks.
