Default Cleaning Ideas for RC Nitro Buggy

Hoping someone can give me ideas on what you use to clean your RC Nitro Buggy and/or Traxxas T Maxx?

they make cans of notro cleaner, or you can use a mix of simple green and denatured alcohol. the second method works best if put in a spray bottle

I've always used compressed Nitro solution like [link=http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXN287&P=7]this one[/link] made by HPI. I will sometimes use the nitro gas itself to clean off some parts of the car too...

Take out the engine and the electronics and stick it in the dishwasher.
Put it in by itself, not with the dirty dishes.

Plenty of good ways in here by now.. but I wouldnt put nitro on any part of my car. The oil will just leave nastly residue on there and it could damage plastic/strip anodizing. I also dont like the the Nitro cleaner you buy in a can. Simple green and a can of compressed air works nicely.

Plain water works great out of a garden hose if you remove the sensitive bits, but MAKE SURE you dry the car off thoroughly immediately after washing, unless you want rusty hardware and bearings(ask how I know...).

Ok, I'm warming up to the simple green Idea with compressed air:

Question:

Spray the entire car over, with everything as is then immediately use compressed air?
OR
Remove all sensitive components then do that?

Thanks,

I have never tried this because of one reason.. Won't it rust up the ball bearings and other metal parts? Have you had a problem with that?
